I know maybe I sound unromantic, but something in me grabbing against commercialized holidays (like Valentine’s Day). You will not find that I buy heart -shaped boxes with sweets or flowers that will die in a few days. But I have a few other ideas that have been a hit in the past or attract my attention.
Here are some ideas for the best gifts for Valentine’s Day, regardless of whether it is a loved one, or only for urgently needed self -care!
Let us update Valentine’s Day this year!
I love days that reminds me of telling my family how much I love and appreciate them. However, this special vacation is a tribute to sweets and goods bought in the shop that lose their value after a few days. I don’t have a lot of sweet tooth and I definitely don’t need a huge gift box full of truffles.
We all have the need to spend a lot of money for expensive data and gifts because a marketing team has decided that Valentine’s Day is a great time for the sale of flowers and sweets.
If you want to spend 160 US dollars for Valentine’s Day (the average of Business Insider … does anyone actually do it?!), I have some gift ideas that bring permanent health and happiness, not just a temporary sugar boost!
This gift guide for Valentine’s Day has unique gift ideas, including DIY gifts for last-minute V-day ideas.
Gifts that say “I love you”
A challenge that I would give is to stop, make expensive gifts and give us a reason to be more creative and thoughtful with our gifts. As a result, I have a file with handwritten letters and memory of memorable events in the past. These mean so much more than a box of chocolates!
In my opinion, the best gifts of everyone are quality time or joint experiences. I will give my family this year and I would encourage them to take them into account! Here is a list of all of my favorite experiences as gifts, but I also have some Valentine’s Day ideas!
My favorite gift ideas for Valentine’s Day
If you want to make an actual gift this year, these are some of my favorite ideas. Your recipient will love you and you can feel great if you give you! You may not all be on Tikkok, but you are a perfect option for an appointment night or at any time (in my opinion).
Gift ideas of the couples
If you want, you can buy a higher -quality gift that you can both enjoy instead of making separate gifts. In this way you can get a somewhat more expensive article and both enjoy it for months or years. Some favorites are:
- Myobuddy – one of my favorite gifts ever! This is a combination of percussive massage, infrared heat and myofascial release in one device. So relaxing and part of our daily routine now. Use code wellness mom for a discount.
- Joovv – another common gift that has become part of my daily routine. The Bluetooth functions are optional if you want you to connect to your tracking app so that it is a low EMF. Red light therapy has many advantages (although I mainly use it for the skin and hair thrust). This article explains how red light therapy (also referred to as photobiomodulation) and why it works.
- Sauna – The children call our sauna “The Quiet Box” and escape a double victory every day for a few minutes and heating heat. The sauna therapy has some well-documented advantages and also relaxes.
- Wine – wine is already a popular gift for Valentine’s Day, but many wines have sugar, artificial colors or flavors or some other strange things that you would not expect to find in wine. While I save wine for really big occasions, I now stay on dry farm wines that have a laboratory test, alcohol, sugar -free and no questionable additives.
- Chemex – I love my glass Chemex coffee machine. It makes coffee house quality at home. The perfect gift for Valentine’s Day for the gourmet in your life!
- Questions and answers per day for couples book – a book with one question a day on which couples can read and answer together. It is a result of the popular Q&A tag for children’s book. A daily start-up starter and an entertaining 5-minute daily activity.
Valentine’s Day gifts for you:
- Shiatsu massage pillow – less than the price of an actual massage and so relaxing!
- Organic cotton robe -I have this organic cotton robe for Christmas and love it! So soft and the belt is attached so that I don’t lose it.

- Rtic Tumbler-I love that for hot and cold drinks and it is a reusable non-plastic drinks cup.
- 10,000 lux happy light – do you feel blue this winter? I use this super-bright “Happy Light” to keep my cortisol level healthy.
- Dry brushes – Brushing is not just for hair and teeth. Brushing the skin can help to improve smooth, smooth and collagen.
- French press coffee maker – nothing says more love than coffee! (Coffee = my love language!)
- Pique Tea – if coffee is not your thing or you like to mix it. This tea tastes delicious and also helps with health. Share it with our recipe for a Matcha tea.
- Adult coloring book and marker-growing coloring books are still popular, and studies show that coloring can reduce the stress value.

Homemade gift ideas
Do you prefer a gift? Try these simple homemade gifts:
- A great massage – Get this digital massage course and learn how to give your love at home a great massage! Cheaper than a massage package and great because they also have time together. Don’t worry; Everything is rated with PG! Give homemade massage butter as a gift!
- Homemade chocolate: If you want to do the chocolate matter, why should you do some gourmet chocolate that is actually good for you? This is my homemade recipe made from cocoa butter and raw honey. You can also exceed it with a little sea salt for a salted version or add a drop of essential peppermint oil for a mint taste. This recipe is also very suitable for the production of chocolate strawberries (or other fruits) or as a magical shell that is increased for homemade ice cream.
- A creative and funny date: I share my 7 top favorites for unusual date ideas in this post, but everything that brings it out of the house and breaks out the norm can be fun. I once did a scavenger hunt, in which I gave a hint in his car after work, and every hint led him to a new hint until he finally got to the date (picnic outside and we played frisbee). In the long run, it will be the creative data and the time together that you remember, not the expensive gifts or data!
- Breakfast in bed – This classic is a great way to eat while eating. You can leave love notes on the pillow covers so that your partner wakes up in the morning. And maybe start the night before with a suitable pajama set if that is your thing. Or dad can coordinate with the children to breakfast in bed and an urgently needed break!
- Homemade lotion bars: Lotion bars are a great DIY gift idea for Valentine’s Day. They are completely natural skin care and can be adapted for men or women. Make them in any shape in silicone shapes to create a bouquet of lottery rod flowers (with a shape like this). Or stay with a simple bar for boys (like this).
- Dried flower art: When mom loves fresh flowers, dry some of the flowers and make a sentimental gift that takes.
- DIY lip balm necklace – This trailer chain is a funny, unique gift. You could even exist for your friends for Galentine’s Day. It contains exactly the right amount of lip balm to supply your lips with moisture on winter days. Jewelry is also involved!
If your children want to participate, you will find some simple craft for Valentine’s Day. You can even make homemade Valentine’s Day tickets for family members.
