If you wonder if you have the right blog, you are never afraid … No, I don’t think there is something like healthy sweets!
By “healthy” I mean “better than the alternatives”. This means that they are made from real food ingredients, without artificial dyes, additives, artificial sweeteners and all the other garbage that can be found in typical sweets. In addition, you can even make your own “sweets” that is really healthier.
I still prefer with candy -free gifts or experiences, if possible, on Halloween. But thanks to companies that make sweets with better ingredients, our family can participate in trick-or-treat celebrations in the neighborhood (without using Seang snacks … although I also happily think that they are also delicious!).
Wait … is healthy sweets good for you?
Given the negative health effects of sugar … no, certainly not! Delicacies such as hard sweets and rubber -like sweets with added sugar (and even for sugar -free) are not the healthiest.
I took some flack for my posture. (But hey, I can’t help but what science says.) There were a few years in which we even skipped parties and trick-or-acid overall.
Over the years I have experimented with various approaches to Halloween (the ultimate sweets palooza). When my children got older, I decided that I could take Halloween as an opportunity for my children to make good food selection.
Now that more companies make better candy options (with ingredients that I can actually recognize), I was able to find some favorites with which my children love and with which I can live. Mixing this in (economical) with many alternatives without a candy is an entertaining, creative and healthy Halloween, which I think is better than the original tradition!
Healthier sweets (& non-Candy) alternatives to trick-or-animals
I usually do my own candy or candy bars when we have it, but that won’t fly to the trick-or-treat. If you are looking for a healthier sweets bought in the shop, the tests have passed for us here.
Of course, you won’t find many of them in your local grocery store. I will often use my thriving market membership to stock up. The prices are low, it is comfortable and I love the selection. Amazon is another good place to find it. I even saw candy options with less sugar and more health advantages in local grocery stores.
All subsequent treats are wrapped individually for trick-or-acid. Bonus, the children in the neighborhood will probably like them better than the junkie stuff! You can help you satisfy your sweet tooth with healthier options.
Start with a healthy meal
First the good stuff, then the garbage? This applies to Halloween in my house. These are our favorite meals and snacks with Halloween topics that have a high protein and have healthy fat and fiber. These ingredients with low sugar are to fill everyone and keep the sugar chess in chess.
Bio -Supuk -Obst -Snacks
These gummy bear packs get their color and taste from real ingredients such as pear juice and pairs. These gummy bears are far from most of the sweets bought in the shop and are organic and gluten -free.
Fruit leather strips
Do you remember this from the lunch days of the school? This version uses real fruits and skipped the corn syrup. They are also herbal and vegan for those who do not want the gelatin to be found in many rubber -like snacks (although I randomly like gelatin!).
Grain -free cracker
Give the children a break from all the sweet delicacies with these delicious grain -free crackers. You will never know that you are nutritious. These are also individually packaged to get a simple trick-or-treat distribution. Be aware that you are made with almonds if you have to worry about nut allergies.
Popcorn snacks
We don’t often do popcorn, but when we decide, we choose gluten -free and not genetic engineering. Children and adults alike love the “butter-like” quality of coconut oil and a pinch of pink Himalaya salt. They are also low in calories with only 50 calories per bag.
Peanut butter cup (without peanut butter)
No Halloween-Trick-OR-Treating list could be complete without peanut butter cup. These dark almond butter cups are a delicious alternative and (in my opinion) even better than classic enjoyment. If you need an allergen-friendly version that is free of tree nuts, soy-free and milk-free, try these dark chocolate sunflower butter cups. They are also available in a peppermint or milk chocolate taste.
Torie & Howard Candy
These tough fruit candies look just like the popular Starburst sits, but use organic ingredients and no artificial flavors or colors. In addition, their creative flavors will even seduce adults: Meyer Lemon & Raspberry, pomegranate & nectarine and Blood Orange & Honey. They are also high in antioxidative vitamin C. Torie & Howard also offer hard sweets in tall people who are non-genetically and organic.
Best Buy: Natural Lollipops
I know that shopping for natural or organic products can mean a real bite from the budget, but this time there is no excuse. With these natural Yum Earth Lollipops I have saved the best for the last rescue … 250 organic and real-fruit aroma pops in a bag for less than 20 cents!
Non-candidia delicacies for trick-or-treating
Here, too, I only offer them as occasional alternatives for special occasions in which sweets are inevitable (such as Halloween), not as weekly/daily food for children.
In order to prevent sweets from being the center of vacation, they mix many non -displayable treats and prices. They are still inexpensive and children love them! Here are 26 ideas, which should spend in addition to free sweets on Halloween.
Other healthy Halloween snacks & delicacies (children like!)
A strategy for limiting sweets is to offer children a lot of nutritious foods before they rise to the trick-or-treat. Instead of our usual dinner, we make some starters to share with Halloween. I make sure that they are strong on protein and fiber (and low for sugar).
While there are a million ideas for healthy Halloween party meals, I only tried those who are easy and easy to prepare. I’m not Martha Stewart, but I’m happy to report most of them with little time and effort. In most cases, the children asked to take over and do them themselves (I leave them!).
Here are some favorite -Halloween -Party snacks and treats that we have tried:
I also keep some homemade delicacies together with some non-candidate prices for trick-or-treating. The children benefit some of their less ideal sweets for funny Halloween jewelry, jewelry or toys. You usually have no problem with it and are actually looking forward to it.
Have a happy Halloween!
The conclusion is that parts in the community with our friends and neighbors have a top priority for us. These options are about as close to healthy sweets as possible, and you have made participation in trick-or-acid for our family. I hope that my children offer some better alternatives to the usual Halloween sweetness festivals, and have a positive attitude towards healthy nutrition and can concentrate on having fun!
