Sweet Salt Texturizing Spray for Hair

Finding natural hair care products that work can be a challenge. I shared my natural hairspray recipe and my beach sea salt spray. I like them both, but wondered if I could combine them to make an everyday hair product.

It turns out that the combination of these two recipes is not only possible, but also great.

Sugar and spice structure spray

I have baby fur hair and although it is of course wavy, it doesn’t hold the style well. My hair is also long and blonde, so that it is easily weighed and looks dirty when I have added certain hair products.

I wanted some hair styling products that offer a light grip and give my hair some wave. I also wanted something that nourishes without parabens, perfume (fragrance), sulfate and copolymer in many figure sprays. The result was this beach wave spray and homemade hairspray. They helped my hair a little body without making my hair greasy or complaining.

As a busy mother, I just like to keep things. This texturizing hairspray combines the texturizing ability of my original sea spray with the additional stop of my homemade hairspray. The result is a durable texture spray that is ideal for thin hair, smooth hair, curly hair and everything in between. (It is what I used to style my hair for this picture)

I also added this recipe for fragrance to essential oils and encourage hair growth. I spend a lot of time outside in summer and contribute to protecting hair and growing new hair.

Natural texturizing spray

This spray is inexpensive and easy to prepare and it works better on my hair than any dry texture spray bought in the shop that I have ever tried. It does not make the hair look greasy or hard, but it controls croupes and blocks the fluid intake.

Even if you buy a top of the line glass spray bottle (which can be reused many times) and use all optional ingredients, this recipe still costs much less than a 4 -unzen bottle of bumblebee and bumble surf volume spray. It is one of the few conventional products that I ever liked very much.

I have received many questions about the glass spray bottle that I used for this recipe. I originally used a fine 8 -unzen spray bottle with fog. I recently tried this glass spray bottle and like it better because it can spray a fine fog or a thicker spray. Another option is to reuse a glass apple vinegar bottle with a glass apple and the top by a normal top of the spray bottle.

  • Add all the ingredients into the spray bottle with the exception of the hot water.

  • Add the hot water until the bottle is full and leave the spray top.

  • Shake until the ingredients are dissolved. Alternatively, you can mix all the ingredients in a pint mason glass and pour the liquid into the spray bottle.

Adding conditioners does not work for all hair types and makes the spray thicker. If you don’t want to use conditioner, you can soak the spray upper part in hot water to dissolve the sugar/salt if it is ever.

How to use the texturization spray to styling

Spray the texturizing spray in dry hair and build until the spray dries. You can also dry lowly while accelerating to the process. Use a curling iron for additional volume to easily loosen 1-inch hair sections and to make it again.

For light morning hair, dry hair in a French braid (or French braids) spray at night and with this spray. In the morning, use dry shampoo and unbroken hair if necessary. Respray and Scrunch for all -day texture and waves.

Why use essential oils?

They are completely optional, but the essential oils give a beautiful fragrance and some hair advantages. In contrast to some carrier oils, essential oils are fleeting oils that do not give the hair a greasy feeling.

  • Rosemary – stimulates the circulation in the scalp for better hair growth. Pulls hair follicles to block the hormone -dht that leads to hair loss.

  • Lemon – adds a light, fresh fragrance and stimulates the circulation for healthier hair.
  • Clary Sage – reduces skin inflammation and regulates oil production. Also increases blood circulation for a healthier scalp
