DIY roles on deodorant with magnesium

Over the years I have perfected a few natural deodorant recipes for long -lasting protection. However, I was fascinated by the deodorants of the roll-on antitranspirants and wanted to try a healthier version. You can never have too many homemade deodorant options, right?

This is not only aluminum -free and non -alcoholic, but also offers natural odor protection. It can also work easily for sensitive skin types and you can adjust the fragrance!

Roll deodorant stick

I was the girl who wore clinical strength in the high school. I was admitted to the promise of a fresh fragrance and 12-hour protection. I didn’t know that I was rubbing on my forearms, aluminum and other not so good ingredients.

Diy deodorant is not as noticeable as a powder that is freshly invisible, firm, conventional deodorant bars, but it is certainly much healthier. I also found that natural deodorant can work really well as soon as you have found the right recipe.

My version uses magnesium to combat the forearm smell and restore the mineral balance. Thanks to the arrow root and the baking powder, it is pretty quick to dry. You can also add moisturizing ingredients such as aloe vera and glycerin if you want.

The power of magnesium

The children and I often use topical magnesium to increase better sleep and magnesium levels. I thought that magnesium oil alone makes a good deodorant, but it’s not for everyone. It can feel a little sticky and the skin can stab a little if they are not used to it.

Magnesium is ideal for the skin, both internally and topical as well as in a magnesium lotion. According to dermatologist Dendy Engelman, it can also help compensate for hormones and improve cellular processes on the skin. I have found that my skin is smoother and less susceptible to outbreaks when I use magnesium oil.

You can certainly use simple magnesium oil in a rolling bottle, but there is another type that works well. Magnesium hydroxide often occurs in deodorants based on magnesium and is excellent for the skin. You can add the powder to a normal deodorant recipe or create a liquid version that slides on the skin.

Milk of Magnesia

Magnesium hydroxide is sold everywhere as a popular milk from Magnesia on the shelves. You can see it as a popular laxative. Some brands used to have surprisingly clean ingredients that were only magnesium hydroxide and cleaned water. For some reason, however, every milk from Magnesia that I can find was included in bleaching.

Yes, the same chlorine bleach that is added to swimming pools and withdraws from clothes. You would think that the FDA would ban products that someone drinks from bleach, but apparently not!

The simplest recipes for abstentions magnesium deodorants call up the milk bought in the shop from Magnesia. Since I didn’t really want to lay bleach on my skin, it was used to plan B. This recipe used magnesium hydroxide powder, which was mixed with water to produce her own milk from Magnesia. It separates in the bottle, but that’s a simple solution. Just shake before every use.

Roll the deodorant odor protection

Since this is not an antiperspirant, it does not offer grind protection such as aluminum formulations. However, I have found that I now sweat less because I use natural deodorant. If my body does not try to increase sweat to eliminate toxins (especially deodorant), I smell fresher.

The aluminum and other toxins directly on the lymph nodes and the sensitive breast tissue is not the best idea. If you have used a conventional deodorant or antipranspirant, you may have to carry out an armpits first. This is a great way to make the skin’s microbiome on the right track again.

Deodorant container options

People seem to achieve mixed results with roll-on bottles. The first I bought did not promise any leaks, but so delicious proof, no product could even come out! Those I am now working much better, but some reviewers report variations between bottles.

If you don’t have a bottle, this mixture can also work in a spray bottle. I also found that it was worked well in a small glass and applied with a cotton ball. The recipe makes enough for two roller bottles.

  • Heat the distilled water until it is very hot.

  • Put the water and magnesium powder in the bowl and whisk together.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients together and whisk them smoothly.

  • Pour the mixture into your entry -level bottles.

  • Shake well before each use.

  • If you want to use prefabricated milk from Magnesia, replace the magnesium hydroxide and the water with 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoon of the liquid.
  • I used 10 drops of oranges essential oil, 6 drops of Cypress essential oil and 4 drops of tea tree oil.

Adjust the fragrance

Every essential oil from skin care safe can work here. I kept the dilution to 2% to avoid irritation, but they could certainly double if they use oils such as lavender or tea tree. Or you can reduce or completely eliminate the essential oils. I thought that witches can have a stronger fragrance, but the essential oils cover it.

Lavender, tea tree and patchouli are some good options. I used sweet orange (antimicrobial), tea tree (also antimicrobial) and cypress (helps to reduce the moisture). Mix and adapt them to create your own!
